The Innovative Health Initiative (IHI) has published a SISAQOL‑IMI factsheet summarising the project’s objectives, recommendations, and key tools.

It highlights how SISAQOL^TM aims to support more accurate analysis, interpretation and reporting of how patients feel and function during cancer treatment through standardised Health-Related Quality of Life (HRQoL) and Patient-Reported Outcome (PRO) data in cancer clinical trials.

Through its recommendations, educational resources, and implementation tools, SISAQOL^TM aims to improve the quality, consistency, and interpretability of PRO data, supporting informed decision-making by regulators, Health Technology Assessment (HTA) bodies, clinicians, and patients.
